Justice for Tempi: Protests across Cyprus tomorrow

Date:

Greece will “shut down” tomorrow, Friday 28 February, to take to the streets demanding justice. On the tragic 2-year anniversary of the Tempi train crash, protest marches will take place in all cities.

Demonstrations will also be held in Cyprus. Specifically, gatherings will take place at 17:00 in Nicosia (Eleftheria Square), Larnaca (Europe Square), and Paphos (Town Hall Square), while in Limassol, the protest will start at 18:00 (Molos, Parking 1).

George Myaris, one of the organisers of the events in Cyprus, spoke on Protoselido.

In Nicosia, a memorial service will be held at Eleftheria Square by Kyprianos’ father, Father Christodoulos.
