John Krasinski has been named People Magazine’s “Sexiest Man Alive” for 2024. The announcement was made by Stephen Colbert on his CBS show.
The actor and director, known for his roles as Jim Halpert in The Office and the CIA analyst in Jack Ryan, said he experienced a “blackout” upon hearing the news, unable to think of anything. He joked, “It’s not something I wake up thinking, ‘Is today the day they’ll ask me to be the Sexiest Man Alive?’ And yet, here we are.”
Krasinski, who enjoys a quiet life with his wife, actress Emily Blunt, and their two daughters in Brooklyn, said Blunt was “overjoyed” upon hearing the news. He also added that the new title might mean doing “more household chores.”
