The Israeli military announced yesterday evening that it launched strikes on “terrorist targets” in Lebanon following an attack by Hezbollah in a disputed area near the border between Lebanon and the Syrian Golan Heights, which is annexed by Israel.
The military issued a brief statement saying that the Israeli military was striking terrorist targets in Lebanon.
Earlier, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had warned that Israel would respond to attacks by Hezbollah.
