A 30-year-old man was killed by shrapnel from a rocket that struck a playground in the city of Nahariya, northern Israel, according to Israel’s MDA medical service and local media reports.
The Israeli military stated that approximately ten rockets were launched from Lebanon towards Nahariya. “Most of the rockets were intercepted, and the ones that landed have been identified,” the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said in a statement.
Channel 12 reported that three rockets hit the coastal city.
