ISOTITA Police union protest over working hours

Since 9:00 this morning, members of the Pan-Cyprian Police Union ISOTITA have been holding a protest outside the House of Representatives in Nicosia.

Calls for respect and fair pay

The police protest focuses on working hours and holiday entitlements. Protesters displayed banners reading “Respect those who protect you” and “No to reduction of holiday pay.”

Union statement

In an official statement, ISOTITA said it stands as a shield beside every member of the Cyprus Police, opposing what it describes as an unprecedented institutional deviation and the worst administrative arbitrariness experienced by the force in recent years.
