Handcuffs on two individuals: Drugs found in their home in Limassol

The Cyprus Anti-Drug Unit (YKAN) in Limassol arrested two individuals, a man and a woman, after drugs were allegedly found in their possession.

According to a police statement, the two suspects a 33-year-old man and a 34-year-old woman were arrested following a search of their home, during which narcotics were discovered.

Specifically, authorities seized:

  • 136 grams of cannabis
  • 12 grams of cocaine
  • a small amount of methamphetamine (2 grams)
  • 20 ecstasy tablets
  • smoking equipment
  • a precision scale
  • a large sum of cash

Both suspects were taken into custody to assist with investigations.

The Limassol branch of YKAN continues its inquiries.
