The Hamas-run Health Ministry in Gaza announced today that it received the bodies of 15 Palestinian prisoners as stipulated in the ceasefire agreement with Israel.
Health Ministry confirms handover
The Health Ministry announced that it received the bodies of 15 martyrs released today by Israeli occupation forces through the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC). This brings the total number of bodies received to 345, the ministry stated in a release.
Exchange for Israeli hostage remains
The remains were handed over in exchange for those of Dror Or, one of the three last deceased hostages held in Palestinian territories. Armed groups delivered his body to Israel yesterday Tuesday via the ICRC.
