GOVT to discuss voting at 17 and auto-registration on electoral rolls

The right to vote at 17 and the automatic registration of citizens on electoral rolls are among the topics on the agenda during today’s Cabinet meeting, chaired by the President of the Republic, Nikos Christodoulides, at the Presidential Palace.

According to information from the Cyprus News Agency (CNA), the Cabinet meeting is expected to discuss, among other matters, proposed amendments to legislation regarding voting rights at the age of 17 and the automatic registration of citizens on electoral rolls.
