Gerapetritis welcomes ceasefire agreement

“Greece welcomes the announcement of the ceasefire agreement between Israel and Lebanon as a first positive step towards lasting peace in the region,” the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated in a post on Twitter.

“We urge all parties involved to implement this agreement for the benefit of all citizens and regional stability,” it added.

“We congratulate our partners and allies, the United States and France, for their significant diplomatic efforts,” the statement concluded.
