Australian police arrested four Sydney men aged 26, 39, 42 and 46 after raids uncovered an international Sydney child abuse ring that shared child pornography and “satanic” content online.
Officers executed six search warrants targeting a “global network distributing satanic child abuse material”.
Detectives found the group actively produced, possessed and distributed extreme child abuse material via an internationally run dark-web platform.
The 26-year-old ringleader faces 14 charges, mainly for using phones, email and social media to access and spread child pornography.
The other three face charges involving child abuse material that also included bestiality scenes, plus drug possession.
All four remain in custody after bail was refused. They will appear in court in the coming days.
