At around 8:25 a.m. on Monday morning, the former President of the Republic, Nicos Anastasiades, arrived at the offices of the Anti-Corruption Authority to give testimony as part of the Authority’s investigation into Makarios Drousiotis’ book “Kratos Mafia” (Mafia State).
The former President, who recently published his own book “O Sykofantis” (The Slanderer) in an attempt to respond to allegations made by the journalist and his former associate, was accompanied by his lawyer, Achilleas Emilianides, and appeared to be in good spirits.
The process of Mr Anastasiades’ testimony before the Authority is scheduled to continue on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday.
