Flasher who chased women in Peristeri, arrested after weeks

Date:

Last night, a 30-year-old Egyptian national was arrested by Greek police (ELAS) as the suspected flasher of Peristeri, who had been sought after for the past few weeks.

It is recalled that the man was reported to have chased a 22-year-old woman in Peristeri with his trousers down.

The woman, realising the situation, began running towards her home, but the man calmly and persistently continued to follow her closely. She managed to safely enter her building, at which point the man sped up and fled the scene.

The 22-year-old informed the authorities of the incident and described the man as being in his 30s, with black hair and a beard. He was reportedly captured on local shop security cameras.

According to reports, other women in the area have also filed complaints against him, providing similar descriptions. Local residents have even shared his profile picture on social media groups, offering a reward for information on his whereabouts.

Residents describe him as a dangerous individual, allegedly suffering from psychological issues.
