Recent snowfalls in the mountains enable the first public ski piste at Troodos for the season. Sun Valley I (Aphrodite) opens today, Wednesday 14 January 2026, at 10:00, per Kitasweather announcement.
The decision follows last 24 hours’ snowfalls, with sufficient depth and quality for this piste operation.
Other pistes and lift update
Other Troodos ski pistes lack required snow, and with no significant further snowfall forecast soon, their opening remains uncertain.
North Face lift operates daily from 10:00 to 16:00 for public walks and high views – not for skiing on that piste.
