A fire broke out on Wednesday afternoon between the communities of Potamiou and Vasa Koilaniou.
According to the Fire Service, three fire trucks were dispatched to the scene, and assistance was requested from two aerial firefighting units.
The Forestry Department is also contributing to the firefighting efforts.
There are strong winds in the area.
