ExxonMobil briefs President on blocks 5 and 10 of Cyprus EEZ

Cyprus President Nikos Christodoulides had a meeting on Monday in Cairo with the Vice President of ExxonMobil, Global Exploration, John Ardill, who briefed him about he progress of the company’s activities in Block 5 of the EEZ and the plans for Block 10.

The meeting took place on the sidelines of the EGYPES 2025 Gas Exhibition and the signing ceremony of the Agreement and Memorandum of Understanding for Cyprus exclusive economic zone.

In a press release, the presidency said that Ardill informed President Christodoulides about the progress of the company’s activities in Block 5 of the EEZ and the plans for Block 10.

The meeting was attended by the Ministers of Energy and Foreign Affairs, the Government Spokesperson, the Director of the Presidential Diplomatic Office and government officials.
