Explosion outside company offices in Limassol overnight

An explosion outside the offices of a company in Limassol early Thursday morning has prompted a police investigation.

According to the Cyprus Police, the blast occurred at approximately 3:20am in the Ayios Tychonas area of Limassol. Officers were immediately dispatched to the scene, securing the area and launching an initial response.

With the first light of day, police investigators began a thorough search for evidence and potential suspects behind the explosion in Limassol. The cause and motive remain unknown at this stage, but authorities are treating the incident seriously.

The case is being investigated by the Limassol Criminal Investigation Department (CID), with more updates expected as the inquiry progresses.

No injuries have been reported, but damage to the premises is being assessed.
