Enthusiasm erupted within the Cypriot delegation as Cyprus secured one of the 10 coveted places in the Eurovision final, booking its ticket for Saturday’s grand show.
Antigoni represented Cyprus in this year’s Eurovision Song Contest with the song “Jalla”, delivering a performance that impressed both audiences and juries.
The strong reaction confirmed Cyprus’ qualification for the Eurovision final, marking a major achievement for the country’s entry this year.

Antigoni’s staging and vocal delivery helped Cyprus stand out in a competitive semi-final, with the announcement triggering visible relief and celebration among the delegation.
This year’s contest also marks 70 years of the Eurovision Song Contest, adding symbolic weight to Cyprus’ qualification for the Eurovision final.

Cyprus’ entry with “Jalla” ultimately secured its place in the Eurovision final, completing a successful semi-final run.
