Turkish Cypriot leader Tufan Erhürman has reiterated his side’s acceptance of six of the seven UN confidence-building proposals put forward by Secretary-General António Guterres, ahead of today’s meeting on the Cyprus issue.
According to a social media post by Erhürman, the agenda includes the seven confidence-building measures outlined by Guterres during his visit to Cyprus in late July.
Erhürman said the Turkish Cypriot side had already accepted six of the seven proposals and would attend the meeting seeking a discussion that delivers concrete results.
