Digenis Akritas Avenue reopens in Nicosia after roadworks

Date:

Digenis Akritas Avenue in Nicosia has reopened to traffic after nearly two months of roadworks that caused significant disruption for drivers.

The section had been closed for maintenance and reinforcement works on the stream running beneath the road — a project deemed essential for safety and to prevent future damage.

With the completion of the Digenis Akritas Nicosia roadworks, traffic flow in the city centre has now been fully restored, easing congestion and offering much-needed relief to daily commuters.
