Deputy Minister of Shipping to pay working visit to Brussels

The Deputy Minister of Shipping Marina Hadjimanolis, travels to Brussels on Tuesday for a working visit where she will participate as a speaker at the European Shipping Summit, which is organized by the European Shipowners’ Association.

A press release issued by the Deputy Ministry of Shipping said during her visit, the Minister will meet with the Cypriot Members of the European Parliament to inform them about Cyprus’s positions on European shipping and the actions of the Ministry of Shipping during the upcoming Cypriot Presidency of the Council of the EU.

The Deputy Minister of Shipping will also have a bilateral meeting with the Minister of Transport and Communications of Finland, Lulu Ranne, where they will discuss matters of mutual interest, as well as the challenges facing European and global shipping.
