Police investigate arson after five vehicles caught fire in Limassol overnight.
Around 23:46, four luxury cars, three petrol-powered and one electric, burst into flames while parked in a fenced seaside area in Germasogeia, Mouttayiaka. Firefighters from Limassol stations responded with two vehicles, using hoses, foam and breathing apparatus to extinguish the blaze. The cars suffered extensive damage.

Shortly after 03:25 today, another car caught fire in an open area in Limassol. The vehicle belongs to a 20-year-old. Firefighters extinguished the blaze, which also caused light damage to a second nearby car.

The two additional vehicles are owned by a 40-year-old, a 38-year-old and a 21-year-old.
Limassol CID continues the investigations. The cause of both fires will be examined later today.
