Cyprus will continue to support Lebanon in fostering its institutions

“Cyprus will continue to support Lebanon in fostering its state institutions, including the Lebanese Armed Forces”, the President of the Republic of Cyprus, Nikos Christodoulides, posted on X, welcoming the ceasefire agreement between Lebanon and Israel.

“I wholeheartedly welcome the announcement of the ceasefire agreement between Lebanon and Israel,” President Christodoulides said and added that “the mediating role of the US and FR to this end has been invaluable.”
