Cyprus weather forecast shows isolated showers midweek

The Cyprus weather forecast points to mainly clear skies in the coming days, though some areas will see increased cloud cover and isolated showers.

On Monday, the Cyprus weather forecast indicates mostly clear conditions, with occasional patches of cloud. Winds will start light and south-easterly, around force 3 Beaufort, later shifting south-westerly to north-westerly at light to moderate levels, 3 to 4 Beaufort, and temporarily strong, 4 to 5 Beaufort, along southern and eastern coasts. Seas will be slightly rough. Temperatures are expected to reach 37°C inland, 30°C on the west coast, 33°C on other coastal areas, and 29°C in the higher mountains.

Tonight will remain mostly clear, though periods of increased low cloud are likely. Later in the night and towards dawn, thin mist or fog may form locally. Winds will be mainly south-westerly to north-westerly, light at 3 Beaufort, and the sea calm to slightly rough. Temperatures will fall to 21°C inland, 23°C along the coasts, and 20°C in the higher mountains.

On Tuesday and Wednesday, the Cyprus weather forecast predicts mainly clear skies, though cloud will build up around midday and in the afternoon, bringing isolated showers and possibly a thunderstorm in mountainous areas. Thursday will be mainly clear, with some localised cloud cover.

Temperatures will edge up slightly through Wednesday, with no significant change on Thursday, remaining close to or just above seasonal averages.
