The Cyprus Police announce that applications are now being accepted for the filling of vacant positions for Special Police Officers.
Applicants can submit their applications exclusively through the website www.gov.cy, following the steps below:
- “Employment and Insurance”
- “Employment in the Public Sector”
- “Application for Recruitment in the Police”
To proceed with completing the electronic application, applicants must first create a profile as a Citizen (Natural Person) on CY Login, which must then be verified. The profile verification can be carried out through the following methods:
- Through electronic banking (eBanking)
- For individuals with a Cypriot identity card, via video call with officials from Citizen Service Centres, by appointment
- By visiting an Identification Centre in person, by appointment

Applicants who already have a verified profile from previous occasions should not create a new one. In case an applicant does not remember their details, they can use the “Forgot Username” or “Forgot Password” mechanisms.
During the application process, all relevant certificates must be scanned and submitted. Applications submitted after the deadline will be automatically rejected by the system.
The application submission period begins on Monday, 17/02/2025, at 09:00 and ends on Friday, 14/03/2025, at 14:00. The application fee is €45, which must be paid through the JCC payment acceptance system.
