The biggest gastronomic institution in Cyprus returns for its 21st year to celebrate the island’s best restaurants.
The Cyprus Eating Awards, the most important and long-standing gastronomic institution in Cyprus, return once again in 2026 to honour the top restaurants and the people shaping the contemporary culinary identity of the island.
Over the years, the awards have made a substantial contribution to the promotion, development and continuous upgrading of Cyprus’s restaurant and gastronomic landscape, serving as a benchmark for industry professionals as well as for diners seeking high-quality culinary experiences.
With consistency, credibility and high evaluation standards, the Cyprus Eating Awards continue to support creativity, innovation and excellence, highlighting those who stand out and set the bar high for Cypriot gastronomy.
The awards are presented by Nespresso and organised by Check In Cyprus.
The awards ceremony will take place on Tuesday, 3 February 2026, at the impressive Four Seasons Hotel, in Limassol.

The journey of the institution began in 2005 with the aim of upgrading Cyprus’s dining scene. Twenty-one years later, Check In Cyprus is delighted to see that the vision, hard work and passion of everyone involved have turned this dream into reality. This institution was created to enhance the quality of domestic gastronomy and to reward outstanding efforts. The knowledge and experience gained over 21 years make the Cyprus Eating Awards the only institution in Cyprus that can proudly say it truly understands the island’s dining scene. By following international standards, the organisation bears great responsibility and consistency towards the public, restaurateurs, owners and chefs who strive to stand out in the highly competitive restaurant industry.
With professionalism, consistency and a focus on superior quality of ingredients, service and value, Check In Cyprus discovers and rewards the restaurants that keep the standards of quality dining high.
Each year, the categories are adapted according to the latest trends observed in the dining sector, both in Cyprus and abroad. The Check In Cyprus team, with the support of a large committee of 41 members from all cities, including industry professionals, gastronomy experts, journalists, oenologists and lovers of good food, analysed this year’s gastronomic scene across the island. The process concluded with electronic voting to select the most outstanding restaurants from all over Cyprus, which will be announced as nominees for the awards.
