Cyprus Comic Con 2025 is here: 3-5 October at Cyprus State Fair

CCC opens this weekend with historic J-Rock concert, star guests, wrestling, Japan zone, and more!

The wait is over: Cyprus Comic Con 2025 kicks off tomorrow, Friday, October 3rd, opening a full weekend of pop culture celebration at Kratiki Ekthesi (Cyprus State Fair) in Nicosia!

Opening ceremony & party (Friday, October 3rd – 18:00 to 00:00)

The festivities begin with an Opening Ceremony & Ribbon Cutting at 18:00, attended by:

• Charalambos Prountzos, Mayor of Nicosia
  
• Dr. Vassiliki Kassianidou, Deputy Minister of Culture
  
• Yoshio Yamawaki, Ambassador of Japan to Cyprus
  

From 20:00, the stage ignites with a massive Opening Concert:

• ЯeaL – For the first time in Cyprus, the all-female Japanese J-Rock band will deliver an explosive performance. The group – Ryoko (vocals/guitar), Fumiha (bass), and Aika (drums) – brings authentic J-Rock energy straight from Japan in what promises to be a historic cultural moment.
  
• Fuse – Cyprus’ own rock favourites will share the stage, guaranteeing a night to remember.

This year’s Comic Con hosts an impressive lineup of international stars, including:

• Paul Anderson (Peaky Blinders, The Revenant, Legend, Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows)
  
• Craig Fairbrass (Chef Zeff in Netflix’s One Piece, voice of Ghost in Call of Duty, Rise of the Footsoldier)
  
• Matt Ryan (Constantine, Legends of Tomorrow, Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag)
  
• Jason Paige, the legendary voice of the original Pokémon theme song
