Authorities are assessing businesses’ readiness for electronic invoicing and digital reporting through a questionnaire prepared by the Interdepartmental Working Group (IDWG).
Businesses asked to assess readiness
The initiative forms part of preparations for significant changes expected at both European and national level in the coming years.
The new requirements are expected to affect invoicing and data-reporting processes, as well as businesses’ IT systems and internal operations.
According to the Federation of Employers and Industrialists (OEB), the questionnaire aims to record the current situation and assess the level of preparedness across the business community.
Focus on challenges and support
The exercise also seeks to identify potential challenges, adaptation needs and measures that could help businesses transition to the new framework.
The responses are expected to provide a clearer picture of the needs of the Cypriot business community and support the planning of the next steps for implementing electronic invoicing in Cyprus.
Questionnaire available until September 27
The questionnaire is available in both Greek and English.
Businesses have until the end of Sunday, September 27, 2026, to complete it.
