Cypriot artists take centre stage in Vienna this August

A series of appearances by Cypriot artists in Austria will take place throughout August 2026, with musicians and performers representing Cyprus at concerts, music shows and theatrical productions.

The Embassy of the Republic of Cyprus in Austria highlighted the events through a post on the platform X, promoting the participation of Cypriot artists in a range of cultural activities.

Christiana Thalassinou performs in Vienna concerts

Clarinetist Christiana Thalassinou will perform on 2, 4, 11, 13 and 20 August at the Imperial Gala Concert held at the Auersperg Palace in Vienna.

She will also take part in the Strauss Dinner Show on 18 August, while on 12 August she will appear as a soloist in a concert at Vienna’s historic Musikverein concert hall.

Greek music evening in Lower Austria

Singer Ioulia Agapiou, accompanied by Kostas Diascos on the bouzouki, will present a Greek music evening on 8 August at the Misiyamasa restaurant in Mödling, Lower Austria.

The performance will feature Greek music and will form part of the cultural programme highlighting Cypriot and Greek artistic expression in Austria.

Maria Pampori joins La Cage aux Folles production

Dancer Maria Pampori is participating in the musical theatre production La Cage aux Folles by Jerry Herman, presented as part of the renowned Mörbisch Lake Festival in Burgenland.

The performances will take place at the open-air theatre in Mörbisch am See on 1, 6, 7, 8, 12, 13, 14, 15, 20, 21 and 22 August.

The Embassy of the Republic of Cyprus in Austria invited audiences to support the events and provided information on reservations and ticket availability through its announcement.
