Closed-door talks continue on teacher evaluation system

The House Education Committee continued its closed-door, article-by-article discussion on Wednesday morning, focusing on the new teacher evaluation system in Cyprus and the assessment of educational work. The session remained inaccessible to the press throughout the proceedings.

Officials present at the meeting

The meeting was attended by the Minister of Education, Sport and Youth, Athena Michaelidou, who arrived at Parliament in a wheelchair following surgery after an injury. Also present were the ministry’s new Permanent Secretary, Marios Panagidis, and other senior officials.
