A fire broke out late Monday night in a classroom at a primary school in Strovolos, causing extensive damage.
According to police, the fire was reported at approximately 10:30 p.m. on Monday. Fire and police units responded to the scene.
The blaze started in the school’s art classroom, where it destroyed stationery, furniture, and caused significant damage to doors and a lift in the building.
Initial investigations suggest the fire was the result of arson, police confirmed. The investigation is ongoing.
