President Nikos Christodoulides declined on Sunday to comment on speculation regarding a possible cabinet reshuffle following the parliamentary election results.
Speaking to reporters after the annual memorial service for the heroes of the community of Emba in Paphos, the President was asked whether changes to the government were being considered in the aftermath of the elections.
Christodoulides said he had “no comment” on the matter.
“Reshuffles, as you understand, are not announced. Reshuffles are executed,” he said.
“When there is something to announce, an official statement will be made by the Presidency.”
The President did not provide any further details regarding the possibility or timing of a cabinet reshuffle.
