The next meeting between President of the Republic Nikos Christodoulides and Turkish Cypriot leader Tufan Erhürman has been scheduled for Wednesday, 9 September, at 10:30 am, Government Spokesperson Konstantinos Letymbiotis said.
The Christodoulides-Erhürman meeting was rescheduled following a request from the Turkish Cypriot side to postpone the meeting that had been planned for Wednesday.
The request also concerned Monday’s scheduled meeting between Greek Cypriot negotiator Menelaos Menelaou and the representative of the Turkish Cypriot leader, Mehmet Dana.
Letymbiotis had earlier told CNA that the Turkish Cypriot side had requested the postponement of both meetings.
