Christodoulides addresses EPP summit in Valencia

Cypriot President Nikos Christodoulides is taking part in the final day of the European People’s Party (EPP) summit in Valencia, Spain.

He is scheduled to speak this morning during the session reserved for EU heads of state, following the re-election of Manfred Weber as EPP leader on Tuesday with 502 votes out of 563.

Today’s agenda includes elections for Secretary General, Vice Presidents, and Treasurer of the EPP. On the sidelines of the summit, President Christodoulides is also holding bilateral meetings with other European leaders.

He is expected to return to Cyprus later this evening.
