The trade volume between China and Cyprus reached nearly $1 billion in 2023, according to Chinese Ambassador to Cyprus, Liu Yantao, who posted this update on the social media platform “X” on Tuesday.
Ambassador Liu noted that Cyprus has participated in the China International Import Expo (CIIE) for seven consecutive years, adding, “In 2023, total bilateral trade volume between China and Cyprus reached close to $1 billion.”
He also indicated that as China further opens up to the world and deepens economic and trade cooperation with Cyprus, “more high-quality products from Cyprus are expected to enter the Chinese market.”
