A car arson attack in Larnaca prompted an emergency police response in the early hours of Thursday morning.
According to initial reports, four vehicles were deliberately set on fire at a car rental office located on the coastal road in Pyla. Authorities believe the incident was a targeted arson attack.
Preliminary investigations suggest that two individuals arrived at the scene in a vehicle and used a flammable substance to ignite the cars. The suspects reportedly approached the premises before setting the vehicles ablaze.
A security guard stationed at the site told police he heard several gunshots during the incident. However, no injuries were reported, and it appears the shots were not directed at him.
Police cordoned off the area, and investigations into the car arson attack in Larnaca are ongoing.
