Cancellation of 48 flights at Larnaca Airport

Ongoing tensions in the Middle East have led to continued cancellations of flights to and from Larnaca Airport.

According to Hermes Airports, the operator of Cyprus airports, from 5:30am to 11:05pm today, 24 incoming flights to Larnaca have been cancelled. Similarly, 24 departures scheduled between 5:30am and 11:20pm have also been cancelled.

European airlines suspend flights

Since the day before yesterday, cancellations have affected flights from European countries including Germany, the United Kingdom, and Austria. Major airlines such as British Airways, Lufthansa, EasyJet, and Austrian Airlines have suspended their operations to and from Cyprus.

Passengers with upcoming travel plans are advised to contact their airline or travel agent before heading to the airport.
