Huge distinction for Cypriot brewery: International Quality Award for Carlsberg Cyprus

The awards and distinctions for the Photos Photiades Group Brewery and Carlsberg Cyprus continue to receive international recognition. Recently, at a major event hosted by the global giant Carlsberg in Copenhagen, Photos Photiades Breweries won the Best Brew Award for Carlsberg beer, standing out among many dozens of breweries, some of the most advanced in the world.

The prestigious award was received by Mr Pavlos Photiades, who, after expressing his gratitude for the significant honour, emphasised that a commitment to quality is deeply rooted in the culture of the Cypriot Group. For more than half a century, the Group has passionately produced in Cyprus and offered to Cypriot consumers, on a daily basis, Carlsberg beer, renowned for its top-quality and freshness, and arguably the best beer in the world.

In his remarks, Mr Photiades also noted that this esteemed distinction serves as an inspiration for the future, highlighting that Cyprus and its businesses can successfully compete with any company abroad.

It is worth noting that the Best Brew Award for quality was introduced this year for the first time at Carlsberg Denmark’s annual International Conference, with Cyprus taking the top prize.

It is also important to remember that the Cypriot brewery of the Photos Photiades Group is the starting point of Carlsberg’s global journey.
