A bomb explosion occurred at around 1:30 a.m. in Deryneia, damaging a property and prompting an investigation by the Famagusta CID into attempted destruction with explosives.
Property damage reported
According to the Cyprus Police, the blast took place outside the home of a 49-year-old resident. Damage was caused to the garage door of the property.
Investigation ongoing
Police confirmed that examinations and investigations at the scene are ongoing. No further details regarding suspects or motives have been released at this time.
