Bomb threats were reported on two flights travelling from Greece to Milan and Vienna, following a series of threatening phone calls targeting other airlines.
According to information reported by Greek media, in the first incident, the airline was notified shortly before the aircraft was due to land in Milan. The crew was informed after the plane reached its destination.
All necessary security checks were carried out, but nothing suspicious was found.
The second aircraft also landed safely in Vienna without being diverted. No suspicious items were discovered.
Similar incidents were reported in France, Bulgaria, Belgium and Italy, prompting flight diversions, emergency landings and mobilisations by the authorities.
