The Police Authorities were mobilised following the discovery of a body in the centre of Nicosia in the early hours of Tuesday (18/2).
According to initial reports, the body was found in an open area in the heart of the capital.
The police state that investigations are underway to identify the deceased, while all possibilities are being examined.
Examinations are ongoing.
