Authorities repatriate 12 illegal immigrants in Paphos

The Cyprus Police, in collaboration with other competent authorities, have repatriated twelve foreign nationals who were residing illegally in the Republic, following a police operation conducted yesterday in the Paphos district by the Aliens and Immigration Department.

During the operation, a total of 19 individuals were arrested for illegally residing in Cyprus.

Repatriation procedures

Twelve of those arrested have already been repatriated, while procedures for the remaining seven are ongoing, coordinated with the relevant authorities.

The Police emphasised that efforts to locate and repatriate individuals illegally residing in Cyprus continue on a daily basis.
