The Minister of Education, Sports and Youth, Athena Michaelidou, travels on Sunday to Brussels to participate in the proceedings of the Council of Education, Youth and Sport Ministers organized by the Polish Presidency of the Council of the European Union on 12 and 13 May 2025.
The Ministry of Education says in a press release that, on the sidelines of the Council, Athena Michaelidou will brief her counterparts on the priorities and preparations of the Cyprus Presidency of the Council of the European Union during the first half of 2026, in the fields of Education, Youth and Sport.
Michaelidou will return to Cyprus on Wednesday.
