President of the House of Representatives Annita Demetriou begins an official visit to Greece today following an invitation from the President of the Hellenic Parliament, Nikitas Kaklamanis.
The visit includes a series of high-level political meetings and engagements with senior Greek officials and parliamentary representatives.
Meeting with Greek Foreign Minister
Today, Monday, at 12:00, Annita Demetriou is scheduled to meet Greek Foreign Minister Giorgos Gerapetritis.
The meeting forms part of a broader programme aimed at strengthening relations and discussions on issues of mutual interest between Cyprus and Greece.
Talks with Prime Minister and Parliament leaders
On Tuesday, the President of the House will be received by Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis and will also hold talks with her Greek counterpart Nikitas Kaklamanis, who will host an official dinner in her honour.
Demetriou will additionally meet separately with leaders and representatives of parliamentary parties during her visit.
Later in the day, at 19:00, she is expected to address the plenary session of the Greek Parliament.
