The Andrey & Julia Dashin’s Foundation supported Christmas events and initiatives across Cyprus this year, spreading smiles to children, families, and the elderly. Through its activities, the Foundation reaffirmed its commitment to promoting well-being and inclusivity in local communities.
Supporting festive events
On 5 December, the Foundation supported a Christmas bazaar at Laniteio Lyceum in Limassol. At the small market, students from a special school supported by the Foundation sold handmade crafts and sweets to raise funds.
Similarly, on 14 December in Paphos, the Foundation backed a Christmas celebration for over 100 children. On 15 December, the Foundation celebrated with 16 children and their families at a therapeutic centre in Limassol, which it funds to provide specialised therapeutic programmes for children with diverse needs.
On 20 December, celebrations continued at Kato Polemidia Lyceum and the special unit of Laniteio Lyceum. Andrey Dashin, dressed as Santa Claus, visited students, distributing gifts and wishes. On 21 December, Mr Dashin visited the Giorgion Elderly Home and Rehabilitation Centre, a facility traditionally hosting Christmas events. The Foundation supported the centre throughout the year by providing air conditioners and renovating its lift.
The events culminated on 22 December with the Foundation’s annual festive convoy. Alongside Exinity’s management and their families, they dressed in holiday attire and distributed gifts to more than 45 children and families in need in Limassol and Nicosia, ensuring the magic of the holidays reached as many people as possible.
Making a meaningful impact
In addition to the festive events, the Foundation continues to support the following organisations through donations, providing food and essential items:
- Friends’ Hospice Foundation Paphos
- Polemidia Committee and Panagia Evangelistria Church
- Funraising Charity Association
- Archbishop Makarios III Lyceum A, Paphos
- 2nd Public Primary School, Paphos
A season of giving
Reflecting on the Foundation’s efforts, Andrey Dashin stated:
“The holiday season is a time for giving—a time to share and bring joy to others. Through these initiatives, we hope to make a difference in the lives of children, families, and the elderly across Cyprus. At the Andrey & Julia Dashin’s Foundation, we believe that small acts of kindness can light up hearts, creating memories that last a lifetime.”
The Foundation’s ongoing commitment to supporting local communities and vulnerable groups reflects its core mission of solidarity, inclusivity, and improvement. As 2025 approaches, the Andrey & Julia Dashin’s Foundation remains dedicated to creating a brighter, more inclusive future for all.
