Applications for enrolment in the All-Day Gymnasiums for Interdisciplinary Learning will soon begin. These schools will continue operating for the 2025-2026 academic year, offering two parallel sections: the “STEAM” section and the “Greek Language and Culture” section.
According to an announcement from the Ministry of Education, Sport and Youth (MOE), students will follow the standard morning timetable of gymnasiums, while afternoon sessions will take place from 14:00 – 15:20.
The All-Day Gymnasiums operate in the following schools:
- Nicosia District: Pancyprian Gymnasium and Archangelos Lakatamia Gymnasium
- Limassol District: Laniteio Gymnasium and Ypsonas Gymnasium
- Larnaca District: Evriviadio Gymnasium
- Famagusta District: Paralimni Gymnasium
- Paphos District: Nikolaideio Gymnasium
It is clarified that the Pancyprian Gymnasium operates with an open educational district, meaning that parents/guardians may apply for their child’s enrolment in Year 1, regardless of their place of residence.
Application Process
For Pancyprian Gymnasium, applicants must complete the relevant Enrolment Application Form and submit it to the Nicosia District Office of Secondary General Education via email at [email protected] from 17 February to 12 March 2025. Before applying, parents/guardians must first complete their child’s electronic enrolment in their designated school district via the eΔΕΑ system. Student selection will be conducted through a lottery.
For all other All-Day Gymnasiums, admission will not be open to students from outside their educational district. The selection of students will be determined by the School Administration. The relevant Application Form is attached and must be completed and submitted by interested parents/guardians to the School Principal by the end of June 2025, provided that the child’s electronic enrolment has been completed through the eΔΕΑ system.
