An explosion occurred at around 10:30 p.m. yesterday outside a gym in Nicosia owned by a 35-year-old and a 39-year-old.
According to the Cyprus Police, the blast caused damage to the glass storefront of the premises, while minor damage was also reported to a car belonging to a 29-year-old woman that was parked nearby.
Investigations that followed determined that the explosion was caused by the detonation of an improvised explosive device (IED).
