Cohesion4(E)U is a European programme aimed at enhancing the dissemination of information about the EU Cohesion Policy through a multifaceted approach. Coordinated by SigmaLive, the programme runs from October 2024 to September 2025 and seeks to highlight the importance of the Cohesion Policy in implementing EU priorities, as well as tackling current and future challenges for Europe and local communities.
Programme objectives
The mission of Cohesion4(E)U is to create a dynamic and inclusive information campaign that connects the Cohesion Policy with the communities it serves, fostering collaboration and participation. It aims to inspire and engage a broad audience, from citizens to stakeholders, including NGOs, businesses, academics, public authorities, and other beneficiaries.
Planned activities
To promote better understanding and active involvement in the Cohesion Policy’s initiatives, the programme includes the following activities:
1. Digital actions:
- Social media campaigns: Campaigns to inform and raise public awareness through social platforms.
- Podcasts & vlogging: Episodes explaining Cohesion Policy with practical examples from real success stories.
- Informative articles: Regular updates on the policy and its local applications.
2. Traditional media:
- TV and radio spots: Real-life stories of people who have benefited from the Cohesion Policy.
- Interviews and features: Showcasing successful initiatives at local and regional levels.
3. Dissemination events:
- Networking sessions: Opportunities to meet individuals and organisations involved in or benefiting from the Cohesion Policy.
- Local events: Guided tours, workshops, and activities showcasing the practical application of the Cohesion Policy.
- Interactive installations and festivals: Educational experiences in public spaces offering a fresh perspective on the Cohesion Policy.
Expected benefits
