On 17 and 18 October 2026, the Limassol Municipal Garden will be transformed into a unique space of joy, creativity and giving, welcoming “A Stage for the Future – Painting Love with Childlike Hearts — Illuminating Hope,” an international family festival of art, entertainment and charity.
Organised by the Cypriots–Chinese Women & Children Association (CWCA), the festival aims to bring people, cultures and communities together through art and, above all, through a shared love for children. For two days, children and adults alike will have the opportunity to enjoy a rich programme filled with colour, music, performances, creative workshops, games and activities for the whole family.
At the heart of the festival is a special children’s art exhibition, alongside works by artists and photographers from Cyprus and abroad. Visitors will also have the opportunity to discover different cultural traditions through spectacular presentations, including lion and dragon dances, Chinese drums and other artistic performances.
A special place at the festival belongs to Lilibu, the little heroine of the children’s book Lilibu: The Painter of Dreams, who travels to Cyprus to share a simple but powerful message: children’s dreams can make the world a more beautiful place. Visitors will be able to discover Lilibu’s world, while the book and her collectible plush figure will also be available at the festival.
A Stage for the Future is more than a festival. It is an invitation for all of us to help create a world filled with greater kindness, inclusion and hope. 100% of the net proceeds from the event will be donated to charitable organisations and causes supporting children, turning every purchase and act of participation into a meaningful act of giving.
With an open spirit, an open heart and the power of art, the festival hopes to create a place where every child can dream, every family can smile, and every visitor can leave with a little more hope.
