The weather forecast points to mainly clear skies at first on Tuesday, although temporarily increased cloud will develop in some coastal areas.
Cloud will gradually increase, with isolated showers expected in the afternoon over the mountains, inland areas and the north.
Winds will initially be mainly southeast to southwest, light at 3 Beaufort, before gradually becoming southwest to northwest, light to moderate at 3 to 4 Beaufort. Locally along southern coasts, winds may reach 4 to 5 Beaufort in the afternoon.
The sea will be slightly rough at times.
Temperatures will reach around 33°C inland, 29°C on the west coast, 31°C on the remaining coastal areas and 23°C in the highest mountains.
Clearer conditions overnight
Tonight, skies will gradually become mainly clear, although temporarily increased cloud will appear mainly in the west.
Winds will be mainly northwesterly, light and occasionally moderate at 3 to 4 Beaufort, later easing to 3 Beaufort. The sea will be calm to slightly rough.
Temperatures will fall to around 18°C inland, 20°C on the coast and 13°C in the highest mountains.
Showers and thunderstorms Wednesday and Thursday
On Wednesday and Thursday, locally increased cloud after midday is expected to bring isolated showers or thunderstorms, mainly in the mountains and the eastern half of the island.
Friday will be mainly clear.
Temperatures are not expected to change significantly and will remain close to average climatic values.
