A 15-year-old girl is being treated in hospital and is out of danger after falling from the third floor of an apartment building in the Neapolis area of Limassol, landing on the roof of a wooden pergola on the ground floor. Investigators are examining the circumstances surrounding the fall.
According to a police statement, other minors were reportedly inside the apartment at the time, while alcohol consumption is believed to have preceded the incident.
A Fire Service rescue team responded to the scene and reached the girl, placing her on an immobilisation stretcher in cooperation with the Ambulance Service.
She was then handed over to an ambulance crew and taken to the Accident and Emergency Department of Limassol General Hospital.
Police said the 15-year-old is out of danger, while investigations are continuing to establish the exact circumstances of the incident.
